Important dates and deadlines for financial aid

Priority Filing Deadlines

all paperwork must be received by for
April 1 Summer Quarter (begins July)
July 1   Fall Quarter (begins October)
October 1   Winter Quarter (begins January)
January 1   Spring Quarter (begins March)

Award of Financial Aid

To be considered for financial aid, the following steps should be followed.

  1. Apply for admission and be accepted into a Program of Study. After you are accepted into a Program of Study, you will receive a user ID so you can access WebAdvisor for award information.
  2. FAFSA form (must be filled out each year to be considered for financial aid)
    The Title IV code for SCC on the FAFSA form is 007591
  3. Review your Student Aid Report for accuracy upon receipt. (Your SAR will be sent by the U.S. Department of Education.)
  4. Submit additional information to SCC upon request. You may be sent a verification form.
  5. Once your file is complete, you will receive a notification about eligible awards via your WebAdvisor account.
