A student must be accepted to the College and enrolled in an eligible program of study. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) The FAFSA will determine which type of Stafford Loan a student is eligible for based on the EFC. The FAFSA can be completed on-line at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ or a paper application can be picked up at the Financial Aid Office.

All new borrowers must complete Loan Entrance Counseling before receiving loan funds. Dependent first year students may borrow a maximum of $3,500 per school year.
Dependent second year students may borrow a maximum of $4,500 per school year (subject to other restrictions per federal regulations).
Independent first year students may borrow a maximum of $7,500 per school year.
Independent second year students may have a loan limit of $8,500.
