FEDERAL WORK STUDY

Students seeking Federal Work-Study need to complete and return a Work-Study Application for consideration. Forms can be picked up at the Financial Aid Office on the campus where you will be completing your program of study.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Student must show financial need
    (Financial Need=Cost of attendance minus EFC minus Financial Aid)
  • Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • Student must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress

Guidelines

  • Students are not allowed to work full-time.
  • Students must be enrolled and attending, or will be enrolled and attending in the next period of enrollment.
  • A student employee is considered an “at will” employee. This means either the employee or the employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time.
  • Placement is facilitated through the Financial Aid Office.

Payment of Work Performed

  • Time sheets are due in the Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid Office will monitor monthly earnings as well as maximum amount of earning awarded to the student.
  • Late submission of Time Sheets will cause a delay in receipt of a paycheck.
