SCC's Milford Student Senate Raises Funds for Kiwanis Club
Some Southeast Community College Milford Campus employees took a pie in the face for a good cause.
The Milford Campus Student Senate held a fund-raiser for the Milford Kiwanis Club during Student Appreciation Week at the campus April 20-24.
The group raised $361.60. The Milford Back Pack Program will receive $223.30, the city park will get $63.30, and the general fund will receive $75.
Stacey Harrifeld, student activities coordinator for SCC's Milford Campus, was pleased with the amount of money raised.
"I'd like to say thank you to all who participated, donated and helped," Harrifeld said. "It was a success."
Three faculty/staff were placed in the hot seat during each of 13 time slots during the day on April 22.
