Storm Golfers Maintain 15th-Place Spot After Third Round at Nationals
Southeast Community College's men's golf team remained in 15th place after three rounds of the National Junior College Athletic Association's Division II Tournament at Goose Pond Colony in Scottsboro, Ala. The third round was played May 21.
Luke Benford, a freshman from Hampshire, England, leads SCC after three rounds with a 10-over-par 226, tying him for 37th place. Adam Dredge, a freshman from Valentine, shot 73 on Thursday, vaulting him into a tie for 54th place with teammate Matt Vineer, another freshman from Hampshire. Brandon Schock, a sophomore from Beatrice, was tied for 111th place after a third-round 81, and Jordan Wise, a freshman from Lincoln Northeast, stood in 114th place. Wise posted a third-round 76 to improve his position at the tournament.
The final round is scheduled to be played May 22.
