Motorcycle Safety (noncredit)
SCC offers classes in Motorcycle Safety; a Beginners Riders Course and an Experienced Riders Course. Both classes are approved by the DMV for licensing. To add a motorcycle endorsement a valid Nebraska
license is required. 
 

Beginning Rider’s Course

This course is intended for beginning riders and is designed to teach safe motorcycle operation. Classes are offered in an accelerated one-weekend format. Prerequisite: Student must be 18 and able to ride a bicycle.

Experienced Rider’s Course

The experienced rider’s course is intended for experienced riders and is not a beginner’s course. Prerequisite: Student must be 18 and have significant experience riding motorcycles and posses a current, valid motorcycle learner permit. Students must have proof of insurance for the motorcycle to be used in class. Failure to provide proof of insurance will disqualify participation in class and a refund will not be available.

Scooter Safety Course

This course is intended for beginning riders and designed to teach safe scooter operation. All classes are offered in an accelerated one-weekend format.
