Motorcycle Safety Experienced Riders Course

This course is intended for experienced riders and is approved by the DMV for licensing.

Prerequisite:

Student must be 18 and have significant experience riding motorcycles. This is NOT a beginners course. Students must have proof of insurance for the motorcycle to be used in class. Failure to provide proof of insurance will disqualify participation in class and a refund will not be available.

Students must provide their own:
• Motorcycle
• Dept. of Transportation approved helmet & eye protection
• Over the ankle footwear
• Long-sleeve shirt or jacket
• Long non-flare denim pants or equivalent
• Full-fingered gloves, preferably leather.

One-Day Format
Requires that a student practice and then demonstrate correct operation in:
• Control at low speeds
• Controls-Skills practice
• Limited space maneuvers
• Cornering judgment
• Cornering finesse
• Stopping quickly
• Stopping quickly in a curve
• Hazard avoidance
• Multiple curves
