Driver Education & Safety (noncredit)
SCC offers Driver Education class at physical locations in Lincoln, Beatrice, Crete and Wymore. The lecture is also available online.
These classes are certified by the DMV for the Provisional Operator’s Permit (POP’s) and will waive the written and drive exam for 16 – 17 year olds.

Learner Permit Preparation: attend this class and prepare for the written test and review the facts and common traffic laws you are required to know for public safety. Continuing Education Class Schedule - Fall 2009.
Driver Education Instructor Training: DMV approved course for the certification of instructors to teach driver education in a noncredit format. Focus is on fundamental driver education, curriculum development, and presentation skills. The intent of this class is for those individuals that want to teach outside the K-12 system.
