The SCC College Ready Certificate Program is an innovative program that will address the specific needs of displaced workers and workers in transition to allow them better opportunity for success in college.

 

Statistics have shown that individuals returning to the scholastic environment after a forced career change often struggle becoming a student after years away from the classroom.

 

The non-credit program will address areas such as time management, study skills, family coping and support skills, keyboarding and computer skills.

 

The College Ready Certificate is the first step to success in obtaining the skills necessary to succeed in a scholastic environment and be prepared for future career opportunities.

 

This program offers 31.5 contact hours of non-credit training.
