1. A personal computer is helpful but not necessary. The Computer Programming Lab, Room 224, is open until 6 p.m., and campus computer labs are open until 10 p.m.
2. A minimum grade of C (70% or better) is required for all prerequisite classes.
3. Maintain standards for ethical computer use.
4. Maintain attendance standards according to college policy.
5. Be prepared to take notes in lecture classes as note time is allowed for all tests.

Program Goals

1. Provide the student with a strong foundation in structured programming and logic techniques.
2. Provide the student with hands-on experience on various computer platforms.
3. Provide the student with practical programming experience using several industry-standard languages.
4. Provide the student with a simulated business experience by building a system from basic design to implementation.
