Program Requirements & Student Responsibilities
- All prospective students are responsible for scheduling an appointment to take the COMPASS test. ACT scores may be accepted. Prospective students will be informed of test scores and will need to contact the registrar.
- Attain a minimum grade-point average of 2.0 on a scale of 4.0 in program courses to continue.
- Maintain attendance standards according to college policy.
- Participate in all learning activities at the scheduled times.
- Be responsible for program costs: tuition, fees, books and tools.
- Maintain safety practices provided to you by your instructor.
Program Goals
- Provide students with adequate technical training and a strong foundation and experience in the areas of information technology applications and processes, consumer electronics, communication, audio/video systems, security systems, computers, networking and telephony systems that will enable them to succeed at entry-level employment in the electronics and information technology industry.
- Provide an effective training program that meets the employment needs of the electronics and information technology job markets.
- Provide students with a safe and healthy working environment that is conducive to learning.
