Location Offered: Lincoln only

Overview

SCC’s Motorcycle, ATV & Personal Watercraft Technology program teaches students the basics of each of the motorcycle, all-terrain vehicle and personal watercraft systems. Students also learn advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting procedures. This hands-on approach ensures that students understand the complex principles and theories incorporated into today’s vehicles. Areas covered include engine, transmission, suspension and steering, brakes, fuel systems, electrical/electronics, and tune-up and drivability. This 12-month Diploma program offers classes beginning in January (Winter Quarter) and July (Summer Quarter). The program has received many donations from manufacturers, local service and repair shops as well as individuals. These donations include motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercrafts, complete engines, individual components, reference and service manuals, videos and training aides. The program also has received assistance from owners, service managers and technicians. These donations allow SCC to provide students with the experience of working on the latest technology, along with understanding the basics used on older vehicles.
