POSITION TITLE: Secretary II, Academic Education (Full-time, Regular) CLASSIFICATION: Support Staff REPORTS TO: Dean, Academic Education PRIMARY WORKSITE: Energy Square - Lincoln Campus
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under the general supervision of the Dean, Academic Education, the Division Secretary provides the secretarial and clerical support for the Dean, Academic Education and staff. This may include operating: microcomputer, calculators, typewriter, copy machine, telephone and PBX console. Preparation of reports, correspondence, purchase orders, filing, maintaining division records, processing and distribution of division mail, the reception of visitors, staff, students and general office management. Hours of work for this position are scheduled Monday through Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with a 40 hour work week. This is a full-time regular position based on a 260-day work calendar.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School graduate or GED. 2. Minimum of three (3) years secretarial/clerical experience or two (2) years office experience plus one (1) year of related training.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Ability to operate office machines and perform complex secretarial duties including word processing, data base, and spreadsheet computer skills. MINIMUM SALARY: $12.03/hr., commensurate with education and experience.

POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Worker I (Full-time, Regular) CLASSIFICATION: Support Staff REPORTS TO: Superintendent, Physical Plant PRIMARY WORKSITE: Lincoln Campus
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Maintenance Worker I will work under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent. The position requires the person to perform various functions by him/her, work with students in carrying out functions and work to assist other plant personnel in carrying out functions and work to assist other plant personnel in carrying out their functions.
This position assists with all of the various types of campus maintenance (buildings and grounds), facility construction and equipment moving.
Hours of work for this position will be an 8-hour shift scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 40-hour workweek. This position may require limited Saturday and Sunday work or other irregular hours due to emergencies or temporary schedule changes. This is a full time
regular position based on a 260-day work calendar.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum of a high school diploma and/or mechanical training. 2. Two (2) years work experience using equipment and tools.
MINIMUM SALARY: $11.58/hr., commensurate with education and experience.

POSITION TITLE: Trainer, John Deere, Level 1 (Full-time, Regular) CLASSIFICATION: Professional P1 REPORTS TO: Administrative Director, John Deere Training PRIMARY WORKSITE: Milford Campus/Dallas, Texas GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Director, John Deere Training and the Dean, Transportation Occupations, the Trainer, John Deere, level 1 is responsible for providing training and updating of the John Deere courses taught in a classroom/laboratory setting. The Trainer, John Deere will be stationed at a John Deere Training Center located at located at Dallas, Texas. As needed, training may be required at alternated locations. Assignments for the position include participating in the repair procedures on John Deere agricultural tractors, combines, implements and consumer products. This will include training in theory, testing, diagnostics and service procedures.
Normal work hours for this exempt position are scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, requiring a minimum of a 40-hour workweek and, with the potential of a minimum of ten (10) weeks at remote training locations. Special projects and assignments and periodic increases in workload may require evening and weekend work on an infrequent basis. This is a full time regular position based on a 260-day work calendar.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Transportation Technology related area from an accredited College or University.
OR
- Associate Degree in a transportation Technology related area from an accredited College or University with a minimum of five (5) years of current industry technician work experience and/or technical instruction experience in an Agricultural/Diesel technology field.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical instruction experience in an Agricultural/Diesel Technology field.
MINIMUM SALARY: $50,750/yr., commensurate with education and experience.
