SCC Housing
The Beatrice Campus offers one suite-style and two spacious, apartment housing buildings for single students. Hoover Hall, Washington Hall and Roosevelt Hall each provide local telephone service, cable TV, internet access, and furniture in each unit. No food plan is available, but the Snack Bar in the Student Center, inside the Kennedy Center, is open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch.
The Milford Campus residence halls are available for men, women, married couples, and single parents. Each residence hall unit has local telephone service, cable TV, and Internet access. A meal plan is offered for students living on campus.
The Lincoln Campus does not provide on-campus housing but does provide information for students seeking housing, including apartment and home listings, city locator maps, prices, and general information on independent living. Contact the Student Services Office on the Lincoln Campus for more information.
Lounges
Common area lounges for residents with couches, big-screen televisions, computer labs, pool & ping pong tables, and vending machines are available in the Beatrice and Milford Campus residence halls.
Laundry Facilities
Coin-operated washers and dryers are available in the residence halls for student use.
Activities & Leadership
Residential Life Staff provide residents with activities and events throughout the school year, focusing on educational, recreational and social opportunities. Examples include game nights, movie nights, speakers, educational programs, basketball tournaments, and late-night breakfasts during finals. Residents can find leadership opportunities and make new friends by joining the Resident Hall Association. Resident Assistants are typically second-year students hired to work in the residence halls, providing leadership, team-building, community development, programming, and administration to the students living on campus. Each RA lives on campus, and they are hired according to each campus’ needs. Contact the Residential Life Office for more information.
