Student Activities

Southeast Community College believes that an important part of an educational program for students includes the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities. Activities are an important part of your college experience. This is your opportunity to meet new friends, explore new areas, learn leadership skills, and participate in a variety of activities. Southeast Community College offers many different choices from athletics to recreational activities to student organizations to intramurals. We strive to provide social, educational, recreational, and educational opportunities at SCC and we hope you find many activities to interest you.

If you are looking for something to do, look no further than the Student Activities department! Quarterly activities are planned for each campus and provide evening and daytime activities for students. Examples of activities planned on campus include all campus dances, spring fling activities/BBQ, hypnotists, comedians, educational speakers, alcohol awareness activities, virtual reality simulators, musicians, free food days, water park nights, miniature golf, and Champions Fun Center outings. Quarterly schedules are available on each campus for students.

The Student Activities Fee is used to finance student activities, programs and events, intramural sports, student senate, security escorts, and tutorial services. All part-time and full-time students are charged a Student Activities Fee each quarter.

The Source is a weekly bulletin that contains information for SCC students attending the Lincoln Campus. The Source is an excellent way for prospective students to get a feel for what happens at SCC-Lincoln throughout the academic year.
