The competitive athletic programs at Southeast Community College-Beatrice are a vital part of the campus since competition between teams, businesses, and countries is what drives the world. Teamwork and the team effort is what makes each of these entities competitive. The athletic teams at Southeast Community College are providing students the skills to become successful in the world of teamwork. Participation by the student athletes in the program has resulted in one of the finest community college athletic programs in the nation with athletes receiving All-American and Academic All-American honors along with national recognition. The program continues to grow due to the participation and support from the coaches, athletes, student body, parents and the community of Beatrice.
SCC-Beatrice is a member of the Nebraska Community College Athletic Conference (NCCAC), and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Region IX. Teams compete at the intercollegiate level in men's basketball, women's basketball, men's golf and women's volleyball. SCC athletic participation is governed by the eligibility rules of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
