Head Coach Bill Campbell Bill Campbell is beginning his 21st year as men's golf coach at Southeast Community College. Heading into the 2008 spring season, Campbell's Storm golfers are poised to build on some recent success, including conference and regional championships and having qualified for the national tournament each of the past three seasons. Campbell's goals are to build the men's golf program and successfully recruit area talent. "We feel that recruiting went well again last year," Campbell said. "Defending our conference and regional championships will be our challenge this year. We are setting our goals for another run at the national tournament." Campbell is no stranger to coaching other Storm athletic teams. As head women's volleyball coach, he compiled a 226-169 record. He was named Nebraska Community College Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Coach of the Year three times. His men's golf team has won seven NCCAC titles and 10 Region IX titles, in 1993, 1995, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Under Campbell's watch, the Storm golf team has qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II national tournament 15 times. It tied for 16th out of 21 teams at last year's event in Scottsboro, Ala. Campbell is a 1970 graduate of Tecumseh High School. He earned his bachelor of science degree in education and coaching from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1974. He earned his master's degree from Peru State College in 1989. He has a son, Grant Paul, 21, and a daughter, Clare Jane, 19. He resides in Tecumseh.
