Parking & Driving
Parking is available for students, staff/faculty, and visitors on each campus. Some parking spaces are reserved and designated for persons with disabilities. Parking in these designated areas requires a special permit.Driving or parking is not permitted on grassy sufaces or other non-established driving or parking areas except as expressly permitted by posted signs.
Milford and Beatrice campuses require a parking permit sticker for the campus parking lots. Contact your campus student services office for more information. Each campus encourages owners to lock their cars.
The college is not responsible for damages to a car while parked on college property. Students are responsible for having insurance coverage on their vehichles.
Campus speed limits and all state and local traffic regulations must be observed. Driving against the normal flow of traffic is not allowed.
Another important part of college life is the involvement
in extracurricular student organizations. Each SCC campus offers numerous educational, social, or recreational organizations to belong to.
