Home | Guidance Counselors Thank you for the work you do. You are an important link between Southeast Community College and your students. You play a vital role in the college search process, providing students with information such as important dates, deadlines and next steps they should be taking to prepare themselves for college. SCC understands that many high school students aspire to obtain a baccalaureate degree or higher. We fully support that goal, and we encourage you to inform your students that SCC can be a part of their journey toward a four-year degree. By enrolling in SCC's Academic Transfer program, students can earn an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree and transfer those credits to their four-year institution, all the while saving thousands of dollars. A number of SCC's technical programs also have articulation agreements with four-year schools, allowing students to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree from SCC that will transfer to a four-year institution. SCC also understands that not all high school students are interested in a four-year degree. Some just aren't cut out for the large classes and intimidating campus environment that are present at some four-year schools. For those students who want to earn an A.A.S. degree, Diploma or Certificate and get into the workforce in two years or less, SCC has 50 program options to choose from. Thanks again for all that you do to prepare students for college. We hope this site, along with the personal touch of our recruiting staff, will provide you with all the information you need to help your students make well-informed decisions. If not, send us an email at email@example.com and we'll take care of you.
