Position Description

  • Southeast Community College (SCC) is a multi-campus institution with campuses in Beatrice, Lincoln and Milford, as well as locations throughout the College’s 15-county service area of southeast Nebraska. Approximately 11,000 students are enrolled at the College, and another 24,000 individuals take noncredit classes through the College’s Continuing Education Division.

    Southeast Community College has an outstanding reputation within its service area, the state of Nebraska and the nation. The College ranks in the top 1 percent of all community colleges in the United States by TheBestSchools.org. It was ranked in the top 10 percent in the nation by the Aspen Institute two consecutive years. It ranks No. 8 nationally for Student Success Rate by CollegeMeasures.org. Also, more than 90 percent of Southeast Community College graduates find work or continue their education each year.

    Southeast Community College’s Instructional Division is organized into eight career areas: Agriculture/Food/Natural Resources, Arts & Sciences, Business, Communications & Information Technology, Community Services & Resources, Construction & Electronics, Health Sciences, and Transportation & Manufacturing.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Doctorate from a regionally accredited institution.
    • Senior level administrative experience in progressively responsible positions at a community college.
