    • Exploring and identifying career goals
    • Understanding college policies
    • Referring you to appropriate campus resources
    • Recommending strategies for success

    Admissions Advising

If you are an undeclared student (not seeking a degree at SCC), or unsure of your career goals, or are just not sure where to begin the college process, the advising staff in the Career Advising Center can help you get started on the right path!

    Academic Transfer Advising

Transferring to a four-year college or university requires careful planning. SCC’s Academic Transfer Advisors are available to help you through the process and provide you with the information necessary to make informed decisions.

    Health Science Program Advising

Health Science Program Advising is the starting point for students who are working to complete pre-requisites in preparation for applying to one of SCC’s health sciences programs. Our Health Science Program Advisor is available to answer all of your questions about pre-requisites and the application process.

    Program Advising

If you are in a declared program of study at SCC, most program chairs will serve as your advisor. A link to program faculty contact information can be found on the individual program webpages.
