Favorite thing about SCC: I love the diverse background that our students come from! We have students that are from the high school across town to across the globe that all come to SCC! This unique opportunity for students helps them to live and learn with someone they may have never got to meet at a bigger school.

Fun Fact about you: I love to travel! I have a HUGE bucket list of places that I want to go. Some of the fun places that I have been include Jamaica, Spain, Alaska (in February!), Colorado, Texas, Florida and Montana, to name a few.

Favorite thing about SCC: My favorite thing about working at SCC are the people I get to work with everyday. Everyone is so fun, hard working, passionate and good at what they do. It's very cool going to work with them everyday. Also, another favorite thing about working at SCC is what the school does for it's students. SCC has phenomenal programs and endless opportunities that comes with them. Also, the amount of resources and help the school provides each student. Everyone wants the student to succeed and break through barriers and you can feel that across campus.

Fun Fact about you: I once won a Napoleon Dynamite impersonation competition. I grew in the tiny town of Curtis, NE. I have two rambunctious Border Collies name Finn and Willie. I think breakfast food is the best type of food.

Education: I started my post-secondary education at Southeast Community College and transferred 45 credits to Doane University’s Lincoln campus to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication in 2009. I earned my Master of Arts in Management Degree in 2013, also from Doane University, Lincoln Campus.

Favorite thing about SCC: I love SCC! I have worked in higher education for many years and have continually been impressed by the numerous opportunities, growth, and support offered at SCC. SCC truly meets students where they are so we can assist and support them as they pursue their goals and dreams. I especially enjoy connecting and creating a positive student experience as our prospective students begin their journey! It’s an absolute honor to be a part of that!

Fun Fact about you: I enjoy traveling with my son, Joey, whenever we can. He is such a fun travel buddy! We have a goal to go to all 50 States and we are making great progress considering his age. I also volunteer on the Randolph Elementary PTA. We host a lot of fun school activities and fundraise to support our school. It’s such a great place with so many awesome people! If those aren’t fun enough facts, I can still do the splits!
