Southeast Community College offers both Pre-license Education for those interested in becoming a Realtor or Broker, and Broker-Approved Continuing Education Sales Courses.

Required Courses: Foundations 1 & 2: Real Estate Principles & Practices & Real Estate Finance
The two foundation courses for Salesperson Pre-license covers an introduction into the field of real estate, providing a comprehensive picture of the field of real estate, terminology, concepts of real estate law, agency, finance principles and practices, basic math, title, property management, appraisal, leases, investment, listing agreements, fair housing, ethical practices, environmental issues, contracts, closings, and brokerage.
Foundation 1 is equivalent to NREC 0040. Foundation 2 is equivalent to NREC 0042. Each course provides 30 hours of education for Salesperson and Broker pre-license education requirements. SCC tuition waiver does not apply. Prices are subject to change.
