HMRS-1411 - Practicum A&D and Seminar 2

While obtaining the counseling experience in the field of alcoholism and drug abuse the student will be providing client contact while under the direct and indirect supervision of the site supervisor. Under supervision of a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor, students perform all twelve core functions required for State of Nebraska certification. A required seminar will meet five times per quarter. Students will discuss the application of theory to practice, co-lead groups, practice writing pgoress notes/documentation, and discuss trends in the field. This experience builds upon previous A & D practicum experience.
