ENER-2140 - Electric Power Transmissions Fundamental

Prerequisites ENER 1210 or permissions by Program Chair This course will introduce the fundamentals of electrical transmissions system management. Transmission and substation schematics and control systems are modeled, inter-relationship of generation, load, voltage, and frequency are demonstrated. Identification of faults within the system, operation of isolating equipment, and recovery strategies by operators will be practiced on a simulated transmission system.
