FIRE-1230 - Structural Firefighting Oprtns

Prerequisites: FIRE1220 or Firefighter II Certification Prepares students to conduct strategic and tactical level decision making and implement fire ground operations as a member of a structural firefighting company. Applies principles of the Incident Command System and personnel accountability through evolutions based upon National Fire Protection Association 1410, Standard on Training for Emergency Scene Operations. Includes interior and exterior structural firefighting, flat roof ventilation, pitched roof ventilation, hose lays, search and rescue operations and self-rescue techniques.
