Students interested in Entrepreneurship Education have several
opportunities available to them. An Associate of Applied Science
Degree in Business Administration with an Entrepreneurship Focus
gives students a realistic understanding of what is expected as an
entrepreneur and is comprised of courses in in Business,
Entrepreneurship and General Education.
Students also have the option of a Certificate in Business
Administration that provides a comprehensive study in
entrepreneurship and covers the basic skills needed to start a
business venture. The Certificate can be incorporated into any program of study in the college.
An Event-Venue Operations Management Certificate is an option
for those entrepreneurially minded students interested in working
in the event and venue management industry.
Entrepreneurship learning sessions are also available through SCC's Continuing Education division. Courses such as What's Involved in Starting a Small Business, Practical Accounting, Facebook for Business, and more are offered throughout the year.
