English As A Second Language

  • The program consists of a series of classes to provide a strong foundation in fundamental grammar structures, sentence patterns and English vocabulary. All ESL classes include reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

The ESL series of classes is not a full-time program. SCC does not have the authorization to issue a student visa document (Form I-20) for international students to study ESL. Call the Admissions Office at 437-2600 for more information on visa documents.
