How to Enroll

  • Any person 16 years of age or older is eligible to enroll in a DC Advantage or SENCAP classes provided they meet any stated class prerequisites. Eligible high school students in good standing may enroll in dual credit classes by completing the registration and student application.

    2018 Fall Courses

    Courses begin October 3, classes are delivered online, fiber, and face to face.  To participate in SENCAP courses, your school district must be a SENCAP participant.     Enrollment Procedures

    Students must print out and complete: 

    Register through the high school guidance department.

    Students must be approved by the high school in order to take Dual Credit courses.

    Guidelines for student eligibility:

    1. The student must be 16 years old or older in order to take courses from Southeast Community College unless special permission is given.
    2. The student has demonstrated readiness to take a college level course.
    3. The student has taken any pre-requisite classes OR  
    4. The student has obtained appropriate scores on the COMPASS or ACT tests.
    5. The student must obtain permission from guardian/parent and high school administrator/counselor.
