COVID-19: All SCC facilities are closed to students and the public. Credit classes are being taught in an online format. All non-credit classes are cancelled through April 30. Continuing Education and non-credit classes will resume May 1. SCC update page.

How to Enroll

  • Any high school student that has demonstrated their ability to complete college rigor coursework is eligible to enroll in a DC Advantage or SENCAP classes provided they meet any stated class prerequisites. Eligible high school students in good standing may enroll in dual credit classes by completing the registration and student application.

    2019 Fall Courses

    Courses begin August 26, and are delivered online, fiber, and face to face.  To participate in SENCAP courses, your school district must be a SENCAP participant. For a complete list of dual-credit classes please review the credit class schedule.

    Enrollment Procedures

    Students must print out and complete:

    Register through the high school guidance department.

    Students must be approved by the high school in order to take Dual Credit courses.

    Guidelines for student eligibility:

    1. The student has demonstrated readiness to take a college level course.
    2. The student has taken any pre-requisite classes OR  
    3. The student has obtained appropriate scores on the COMPASS or ACT tests.
    4. The student must obtain permission from guardian/parent and high school administrator/counselor.
