"It's a land-lab scenario, we own a section and a half of property that our students are able to work with, we try to stay cutting edge with the technology and the equipment stay current with operations that they would experience out in the field," said Mark Goes, Livestock Instructor, SCC.

The students are given all the skills to operate in a real-world production unit, "Here in feeds class, we do everything from processing the feeds to making the rations, balancing those rations and then we feed those rations that are specified to the animals are far as weight, breed, makeup," said Logan Warner, student, SCC.
