Artwork from Southeast
Community College students and faculty will be on display at the Beatrice
Public Library this month.
“We have the privilege of
exhibiting at the Beatrice Public Library annually,” said Nancy Hagler-Vujovic,
an art instructor at SCC’s Beatrice Campus and one of the art exhibitors. “This
year we are including the work of some of our students. It’s not an easy task
as most students don’t want to part with their work even for an exhibition!”
Other faculty with exhibits
include Debi Smith, Jaqueline Spackman, Nelson Dungan, Bradley Peters, Trudi
Tejink, Carol Pralle, and Rosemary Zumpfe.
Alumni and students with
artwork include Ashley Jensby, Heather Williams, Beth Kempf, Tina Kastl, Emily
Billesbach, and Tessa Fulton.
The exhibition will feature
paintings, photography, printmaking, mixed media, collage, drawing, sculpture,
and ceramics from Jan. 22 through Feb. 18, 2017.
The exhibit will be in the
Beatrice Public Library’s newly renovated space on the lower level. Hours are
Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturdays from 10 a.m.
to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from 2-5 p.m.
The library is located at 100 N. 16th Street in Beatrice.
