Artwork from Southeast
Community College students and faculty will be on display at the Beatrice
Public Library April 7-20, 2019.
“The event gives
SCC an opportunity to show off their talent and invites the community to see
what we're doing,” said Nancy Hagler-Vujovic, SCC art instructor. “This year's
exhibition will feature photography, paintings, pottery and sculpture.”
The exhibit will be in the
Beatrice Public Library’s renovated space on the lower level. Hagler-Vujovic
said it’s perfect for art exhibitions.
“The lower level
at the library is relatively new and it's fabulous,” she said. “It has mobile
wall units that can be moved and configured in any way desired for exhibitions.
The library has a new exhibition every month and SCC has an exhibition every
April.”
The library is located at 100
N. 16th Street in Beatrice. Hours are Monday through Thursday 10
a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from
2-5 p.m.
