Caleb Berg is the new Administrative
Director of the SENCAP/Dual Credit Advantage program at Southeast Community
College. Berg previously worked at the College in Continuing Education. Prior
to that he worked for the state of Nebraska in workforce training and program
management.
“I
am excited to begin my new position at SCC and for the opportunity to further
build the SENCAP and DC Advantage programs,” he said.
Berg received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Health and Fitness Management from Iowa State University and
his Master of Science degree in Administrative Studies from Boston College.
“Caleb brings a wealth of
experience to the SENCAP/DC Advantage team with his background in partnering
with business and industry for workforce needs,” said Brian Stark, senior
administrative director for SENCAP/DC Advantage.
SENCAP offers
several pathways for high school juniors and seniors to earn college credits
for half the cost. It’s also a way to explore different career opportunities
while getting hands-on experiences. Currently there are 47 school districts
within SCC’s 15-county service area taking advantage of the program.
