The General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program at Southeast Community College is the Quarter 2
winner of the ACDelco GM ASEP School Challenge.
SCC's GM ASEP program is located on the Milford Campus.
Southeast
produced many great images and videos on social media that detailed a
thriving GM ASEP program and great young auto technicians. The challenge
is a social media content showdown with GM ASEP schools in the United
States. A school and its GM ASEP students that produce the best social
media content each quarter will receive ACDelco swag such as hats,
shirts and backpacks and a $5,000 power tool package for their school.
The Q3 event is under way and ends April 30.
Rick
Morphew is chair of SCC's program. Mark Christensen and Jon Kisby are
instructors. Persons interested in enrolling in SCC's program should
contact the Admissions Office at 402-761-8243.
Program
students are encouraged to connect with ACDelco on social media.
Current ASEP students are the best fit, but soon-to-graduate students
and even alumni all have great ASEP stories to tell and help their
school. Students can connect with ACDelco on Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram or Google+.
The
user-generated content that students produce for social media also
highlights SCC's ASEP program. Go to SCC's GM ASEP Facebook page, www.facebook.com/gmasepscc, to look at examples of telling the ASEP story.
