Graphic Design graduates win awards in Omaha

For the seventh year in a row, Southeast Community College Graphic Design/Media Arts graduates took home awards from The American Institute of Graphic Arts Nebraska Show. The event was at Kaneko in Omaha.

“During that time, GD/MA students have received a total of 48 awards in their seven years of competition,” said Elizabeth Vornbrock, program chair of SCC’s GD/MA program.

2018 graduates Cameron O’Brien and Elizabeth Milke received four awards. O’Brien received a Gold for his Gomez identity and two Silvers for his Chrome advertising campaign and Me, Myself & Design promotional materials. Milke received a Bronze for her Puebla packaging design.

Judges of the 2018 AIGA Nebraska show were Sadie Red Wing, Marq Mervin and Rick Hollant.
