Gruett, who has decades of experience directing, conducting and performing in
music and theatre, will direct Southeast Community College’s chorus, After the
Storm, during the 2015-16 academic year.

director of opera at Eastman School of Music.

and the Lansing Symphony. He has conducted and stage-directed more than 40
operas and musicals at the professional, university and high school levels.
