Tyler Edwards Makes All-Nebraska Two Year Team

Sophomore Tyler Edwards has committed to play baseball at Division I school East Carolina University

After two outstanding seasons with the SCC Storm, Tyler Edwards has committed to play with the Eastern Carolina Pirates for the 2016-2017 season.  

Edwards, a right fielder, played two years for the SCC Storm where he became an All-American. He is also the honorary captain of the Omaha World-Herald’s All-Nebraska two year baseball team.

Originally from Prior Lake, Minnesota, Edwards is excited to be living his dream playing Division One baseball. East Carolina University is in Greenville, North Carolina and has around 28,000 students.

Five other Storm baseball players made the World-Herald’s All-Nebraska two year team including freshmen Grant Van Scoy and Will Peterson and sophomores Phil Tomasulo, Brandon Acevedo and Jake McCort.

Two Storm softball players made the All-Nebraska two year team including freshman Aryssa Borrenpohl and sophomore Megan Hartman.
