Southeast Community College
students, faculty and staff will be “Stormin’ the Stage” with their skills at
the College’s talent show later this month.
“Stormin’ the Stage” will
take place May 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Truman Center on SCC’s Beatrice Campus.
Admission is $5 at the door (cash only).
This is the first talent show
at SCC and will feature students, staff and faculty from all three campuses.
Skills range from instrumental, artistic and vocal performances, beatboxing,
ballroom dancing, and dramatic monologues, to name a few.
“It’s a chance for students
and faculty to showcase their talent and to be seen in a different light,” said
Dr. Jon Gruett, SCC music instructor and coordinator of the talent show. “I’m
hoping students will show up to see their physics teacher play the accordion,
and instructors will see their students in a way they’ve never seen them
before.”
More than 35 people will take
part in the talent show. Each show will feature different performers.
