Southeast Community College
science instructor Dan Fogell is the recipient of the Dale P. Parnell
Distinguished Faculty recognition by the American Association of Community
Colleges.
Fogell has taught science at
SCC for the past 13 years. Last November he received the Nebraska Community
College Association Faculty Member Award and was nominated for the Association
of Community College Trustees Regional Faculty Member Award.
“I am humbled and
undeserving,” Fogell said. “This is the best job I’ve ever had. It’s amazing
enough that I get paid to do this, because I enjoy every minute of it. But to
be recognized by peers, colleagues and other educators as an outstanding
instructor, I am honestly speechless.”
Fogell will accept the award
at the AACC 2018 Annual Convention in Dallas, Texas, from April 28 – May 1.
