TCA's CyberPatriot Team places 14th in the nation.

The Career Academy's CyberPatriot Team was honored at the Air Force Association Lincoln Chapter Awards on Sunday, April 8, 2018, for placing 14th in the nation out of 807 teams in their category.

CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program. In competition, teams are given a set of virtual images representing operating systems. They are tasked with finding the cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the images and making critical fixes within a six-hour period. 

The Career Academy is a joint venture between Southeast Community College and Lincoln Public Schools. The goal is to provide academic and real-world experiences to high school juniors and seniors in 16 different career pathways.
