Can I schedule a campus/college visit for my child?Our Admissions team is ready to help you and your student get a feel for SCC in person or remotely! Go to Visit SCC to schedule your visit today. As part of the request form, you will be asked to indicate your preference for an in-person or remote visit. Remote visits will take place via Zoom.
After you submit the form, staff will contact you to confirm the details of your visit. Please note that our ability to offer in-person visits may change at any time due to current directed health measures and our commitment to the health and safety of our campuses.
Will we need to wear a mask during our campus visit?Yes, face coverings are required when six feet of distance cannot be consistently maintained. You’re welcome to bring your own face covering, or we will provide one for each member of your family that comes to visit.
Is SCC hosting Discovery Days or the annual career events this fall?In response to the COVID-19 situation, we decided not to host large on-campus events this fall. Instead, we will host several virtual events giving students the opportunity to learn more about SCC remotely. Visit our Virtual Events page for more information!
What options are there for my child take the placement test?SCC offers the Next Generation Accuplacer at all of our campus Testing & Assessment Centers, Learning Centers, and remotely. Let us know your student’s preference! For information on scheduling an assessment, visit https://www.southeast.edu/nextgenerationaccuplacer/#schedule. Remote Next Generation Accuplacer allows your student to complete the assessment at home, school, or wherever is convenient for them (a computer and internet connection is required).
