  • Your child’s safety and security is a top priority at Southeast Community College. While we do everything possible to keep our campus locations a safe environment for your child to learn, study and live, we know crimes occasionally occur.

    In accordance with the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990 (20 U.S.C., section 1092), we provide information relating to crime statistics and policies governing safety and security at SCC to prospective students and/or their parents or guardians, as well as current students and employees. Anyone interested in accessing the SCC Crime Log information should contact the Dean of Student Services on their campus.

    Student Accounts will help you understand and meet your financial obligations while you pursue your education at Southeast Community College.

    Check with our Financial Aid and Scholarships Office to learn about the variety of federal, state and SCC specific financial assistance available for your student.
    From a student’s first day on campus to their graduation day, our Career Services staff is there to help them achieve their career goals. Career Services does everything from helping a student write a resume to working on their interviewing skills to connecting them with employment opportunities on our job board. We also publish an annual Graduate Report (PDF) which details employment data including starting salary or if student’s transfer to a four-year institution. This information is from the previous academic year.

    • Southeast Nebraska Career Academy Partnership (SENCAP): We partner with 32 high schools in our 15-county service area to provide career exploration activities, real-world learning experiences and dual-credit classes.     • Dual Credit Advantage: Any high school student in our 15-county service area can get a jump start on college at an affordable price through our Dual Credit Advantage (DC Advantage) program. Visit DC Advantage to learn more about the program, deadlines and contact information.
    • Access College Early (ACE) Scholarship Program: Low income high school students taking dual-credit college courses at SCC may be eligible for an ACE Scholarship to help pay tuition and fees. Visit ACE to learn more.
