From your first day on campus to the day you finish your classes, SCC Placement staff will help you achieve your career goals. The Placement Centers offer career libraries with useful information about various career fields and the types of jobs available in these areas. They also provide part-time employment listings for students who want to work while attending SCC. The Placement Centers maintain a registry of job postings and listings for full-time employment after students complete their academic programs at SCC.

The Placement Centers provide job interview training, including assistance with resume building and maintaining student credential files. In order to link SCC students with employers, the Placement staff schedules on-campus interviews for literally hundreds of employers. Students have the opportunity to meet with business and industry representatives and discuss their qualifications for and interest in positions available in a variety of companies right at their campus locations. The Placement staff also plan and host Career Fairs to bring prospective employers to SCC campuses and link them with SCC students—for those nearing graduation, as well as SCC alumni. This is also an opportunity for all students to network with employers.
SCC graduates are offered lifetime placement services to assist in their employment search.
