Placement Testing

  • Applicants for admission must be assessed for readiness in basic reading, written expressions and mathematics to determine if their skill level is consistent with program requirements. SCC currently accepts the following tests for placement if taken in the last five years: ACT, SAT, ACCUPLACER, and NEXT GENERATION ACCUPLACER®.
