  • One night after their seven-game win streak came to a halt, Omaha bounced back with a 2-0 win against Round Rock. The Storm Chasers (59-45) are now four games back of division leader Oklahoma City (62-40), marking the first time since April 30 that Omaha has been less than five games behind the Dodgers.

    The sun had already set when David Easley putted out Tuesday at Indian Creek for the 36-hole lead in the Nebraska Amateur. A three-hour delay to the start of the second round because of morning thunderstorms kept 12 groups from finishing. It’s the first time since 2000 that the tournament couldn’t finish a round.
