Discover the fascinating world of beekeeping!

Success in beekeeping requires an intimate knowledge of the honeybee and management practices based on colony habits and the bee behavior. This class is an excellent opportunity to learn and practice beekeeping.

Buzz Vance, with 35 years of beekeeping experience will lead this informative class. You will be hard pressed to find a more qualified instructor. Whether you are just interested in beekeeping as a hobby or for added income, this will be the place to start!

During the lab classes, students will have the opportunity to establish and manage their own hive of bees through one production cycle.

There will be supply costs for your hive and equipment which will be discussed the first night of class.
