Highlights include the American Pickers store, Buffalo Bill Museum, the John Deere Pavilion and gardens, the Quad City Botanical Garden Center, Isabel Bloom Factory Chocolate Manor, and to top it off, an evening cruise on the Mississippi River aboard the Celebration Belle.

Calling all thrift shoppers and treasure seekers!
Hop on the bus with your SCC hosts for a day to St. Joseph, MO. Nothing new means just that. Our full day of shopping will include a variety of stores that merchandise all gently used items. Leave the driving to us because you will need to rest between all of our second hand and thrift stops. Remember, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure—who knows what you will find?
Required: significant amount of walking. Tuition includes motor coach transportation and lunch. Registrations will be taken until enrollment limit is met. No refunds after April 5. However, substitutions may be made through the Continuing Education Office at 402-437-2700 or 800-828-0072.
Confirmation letters will be mailed to each student approximately two week before the trip. Letters will include exact pick up times, locations and RSVP information. Bus schedule times to be announced. SCC staff tuition waiver does not apply.

NEW! A Dog Gone Good Time

Bring your sweet tooth, your pocket book and your love for dogs on this exciting and educational day trip with SCC. We will travel to Washington, KS, to tour MarCon Pies and Kansas Specialty Dog Service.
At MarCon Pies, you will see first-hand how they make those delicious desserts with more than 100 flavors that include fruit, nut, cream, specialty, and sugar free. Then on to KSDS for a fascinating tour and demonstration of how they train service dogs for the physically handicapped and guide dogs for the visually impaired. Both tours are sure to be educational and inspiring.
Enjoy lunch and shopping in Washington before we head down the road to visit a variety of towns where you will have free time to shop unique stores and boutiques. A stop at Granite Road Greenhouse is included.
