Making your own confections is easy and fun! This is an introduction to candy making. You will learn to make caramels, nougat, marshmallows and taffy. These confections are a great addition to any cookie tray, any time of year. Grab your apron, wear closed toe shoes and come for a new adventure. A supply list will be sent before class so be sure to include your email address on your registration form. Here is a hint… one of the things you will need is a candy thermometer.

Bring to class:

  • Cookie sheet with sides
  • 8-inch square metal cake pan
  • 9-inch by 13-inch metal cake pan
  • 4-quart or 5-quart sauce pan and lid
  • Large high-heat spatula
  • Candy thermometer
