Continuing Education bridges the digital divide by extending opportunities for training to our service area and business community.
Computer training is designed to teach computer skills to the adult learner. This training is primarily offered as one and two-day workshops. Single application classes provide intensive, corporate-style training aimed at introducing selected topics to participants.
These workshops cover various types of software, word processing, spreadsheets, multimedia/presentation, accounting, databases, desktop publishing, digital media, graphic design, and Web design. A variety of introductory computer courses for basic computer operation for both Personal Computer (PC) and MAC are also available.
We partner with Cisco Systems Networking Academy and start CCNA 1 & 3 courses in January and CCNA 2 & 4 in the Fall each year. These classes will prepare you to sit for the certification exam. Please contact Lora Ives for additional information.
Southeast Community College offers a wide variety of Microsoft Office courses. All courses require a book to be purchased before class. See below for full course descriptions and outlines. Current class schedule for Computer & Technology Skills. If you have any questions, contact Lora Ives.
