Other Financial Opportunities
SCC awards need-based, grant-funded financial assistance and scholarships to eligible students. A separate application must be completed to be considered for these awards:
- The City of Lincoln ARPA Scholarship – Provides funding for educational expenses to those adversely impacted by COVID-19.
- Davis-Chambers Scholarship - Recognizes academically promising students from diverse backgrounds who often find
that the financial requirements of postsecondary education are a major obstacle. Qualified
applicants should be graduates of a Nebraska High School and a resident of Nebraska,
among other criteria listed in application. Deadline: April 1,2024(Closed). Application available late fall 2024.
- Gap Assistance Program – Need-based financial support for tuition and other eligible costs for approved, short-termed non-credit training opportunities.
- Nebraska Career Scholarship Program – Scholarships for students pursuing degrees in programs of study leading to high wage, high skill and high demand careers.
- STEM Connect – Need-based federal scholarship for academically talented, low-income students with an interest in careers requiring strong skills in mathematics or computer science.
